Bhasa – Bhartiya Association of Sequential Arts – is India’s first structured initiative to bring comic creators, storytellers, publishers, and enthusiasts under one banner. Together, we aim to elevate Indian comics, preserve their history, and place them on the global stage.

Born out of the shared vision of India’s leading comic creators, Bhasa exists to address the challenges faced by the comics industry – from lack of recognition to missing institutional support. Inspired by how countries like Japan and South Korea nurtured their storytelling industries, Bhasa aspires to create similar opportunities for Indian comics at home and abroad.
